If you are not serious about sales, quit!
A sales job is a vehicle to drive your lifestyle and impact people’s lives. It sustains business, provides employment for vast portions of the population and gets valuable solutions into the hands of customers.
Take this role seriously or get out of the way and give that opportunity to someone else.
A “sales job” is too important for you to dawdle and cruise until you find something “better” – if that’s your attitude, give your desk back to your company and go and do what inspires you.
Alternatively, get inspired about what you are doing now.
Sales is not just a job – it’s a craft. It’s a necessity.
Business and economies rely on this, often looked down upon, function.
Realise what it is that you are part of and get serious.
Otherwise, just quit.
Get out of the way of those who are serious.
