The world is full of examples of extraordinary human achievement.
I don’t believe that there are many extraordinary people.
I do believe there are ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
Therefore, given the level playing field, it is possible for us all to accomplish extraordinary feats.
I consult with organisations to vastly enhance their sales effectiveness.
But in truth, I work with people to vastly enhance their overall effectiveness; and these people just happen to work in sales.
Organisations achieve extraordinary results because there is a handful of ordinary people playing at extraordinary levels.
A dramatic shift in results at the organisational level takes a few people to step up into extraordinary and allow the others to follow suit.
Extraordinary people are hard to find. Ordinary people are everywhere.
So here is my take away:
Leaders: Transformative results are not reserved for the few but are achievable by all – find ordinary people and equip them to operate at extraordinary.
