Business Leaders: The execution gap that exists in your organisations is causing you to not deliver against your strategy.
There are many reasons for this but let’s examine these three and then look at the fix.
1) Wrong People: Wrong Management
This is not a stellar combination for success! You have heard of the expression “the blind leading the blind”…
Make changes – fast.
2) Wrong People: Right Management
This seems on the surface to be a reasonable variable but it’s not. This doesn’t really exist. How can you have the right management and then have the wrong people…if the management was “right” then the people would be too…don’t fall into this trap!
Look at your management team.
3) Right People: Wrong Management
This isn’t uncommon. Good people stifled or operating at levels significantly below their potential because the manager cannot or will not realise their people’s ability.
The mistake here is to believe the person is flawed vs the manager.
Right People: Right Management.
This seems like common sense doesn’t it?
But humour me, look inside your organisation, do you fall prey to one of the three scenarios…chances are you do.
Again, proof that common sense isn’t as common as you might think.
